We look to engage with our customers in a meaningful way throughout their food experience, in and out of the grocery shopping experience, and foster customer love, driving lifetime value.We are currently hiring the Director, Loyalty Business Analytics, an instrumental leadership role on our team. You will lead all day-to-day analytic needs of the loyalty programs - Banner for U and FreshPass, including customer enrollment, engagement, planning, reporting, business cases, development of dashboards, analysis, as well as providing a clear picture of overall performance.

This role requires collaboration with key stakeholders with a joint goal of growing member enrollment, engagement, program ROI and effectiveness. To succeed in this role you will be self-motivated, have a solid data background, identify business insights and opportunities as well as be a stellar people leader, empowering and developing your teams. An ideal candidate will have strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

The work is a mix of long-term projects, short-term projects, ad-hoc tasks, and quick-turn requests. You should have presentation and executive influence skills with the ability to simplify and summarize work while being reliable when it comes to meeting deadlines. You understand the importance of QA work and can adjust quickly to continue making progress towards established goals.

As a subject matter expert, you will be influential with cross-functional stakeholders and consultation with external stakeholders, as necessary. The leader in this role understands the upstream requirements and downstream implications of their decisions. You recognize motivations that impact customer behavior and understand the data that identifies this behavior.

The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA.Main responsibilitiesBuild, lead, and manage the Loyalty Business Analytics team including building a culture of collaboration, innovation and growth, including hiring and developing top notch talent.Model the financial impact of new loyalty programs (free and paid) perks, features and experiences and create business cases.

Create and produce relevant and actionable metrics/KPI's to drive and inform business decisions.Trend Member enrollment and engagement tactics (in-store & above store)Assess the performance of new/piloted Member and Subscriber perks, benefits and experiences.Partner to establish a 3-year loyalty goal roadmap & loyalty programs goal setting across ACI.

Streamline recurring reporting to reduce the amount of time spent manually running reports. This includes creating PowerBI report and dashboard capabilities around all loyalty program operational reporting.Manage the workflow of Adhoc requests, periodic reporting, and Loyalty analysis based on the impact to the division.

Communicate loyalty insights, strengths and weaknesses to upper management and other stakeholders and provide recommendations for program improvements.The salary range is $150,000 to $205,000. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.

What we are searching for 10+ years' work experience in a related field.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Math, or Statistics or equivalent experience; MBA plus.Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience leading, growing and coaching teams, including direct reports.Strong ability to create, build and leverage relationships and effectively interface with executive-level team members plus willingness to roll up the sleeves to solve problems.Strong interpersonal and team interaction skills. Highly collaborative.

Strong detail orientation. High degree of initiative and results orientation.Exceptional at prioritizing and focusing on the highest value opportunities.

Proficiency in SQL required.Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or a similar tool) required. Proficient in MS Office Suite, modeling, data manipulation tools, and relational databases.

Experience with Python and/or R, relational databases, and Visual Basic preferred.Experience with CPG, Marketing, Rewards Programs or Retail Category Management a plus.What is it like at Albertsons?
