The Global Employee Experience & Engagement team at Visa is responsible for driving employee engagement and the end-to-end employee experience in support a high performing People organization.

Responsibilities:This Employee Experience Director role is an exciting opportunity to make an important impact at Visa by leading the strategy, design, and operational approach for new hire experiences. This includes end-to-end journey mapping of key moments and partnering with talent management and learning & development SMEs on strategy and execution, while working with People Systems on enablement and automation. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Employee Experience, this person will lean on their research of industry best practices and experience to frame perspective for the holistic new hire experience.

The successful candidate will look forward to collaborating with business stakeholders, can see the big picture' and pull together lots of different inputs, and has demonstrated capabilities managing by influence across disciplines and job levels. Further, this individual will have terrific project management skills and impeccable detailed-orientation, with the ability to manage across multiple cross-functional stakeholders. They will be an exceptional communicator and strategic thinker with strong analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

There are two areas of responsibilities for this role:Experience DesignWith support from the Senior Director of Global Employee Experience, oversee the use of design thinking to create the ideal first year experience journey map, with touchpoints at key moments and via cross-functional partnerships (eg, Total Rewards, Inclusion & Diversity, ERGs).Partner with Visa University SMEs (learning and development) to unpack, reconsider, and optimally design a new approach to orientation and new employee onboarding that focuses on just-in-time information delivery and facilitating connections within and outside of one's direct team.Own comprehensive industry research for best-in-class practices around designing a seamless, optimized, meaningful new hire experience (from day 1 through to first year anniversary).

Collaborate with Talent Management SMEs to develop key experiences around goal setting, career planning, development, and performance management.Partner with Employee Listening SMEs to develop and implement a comprehensive new hire feedback and sentiment strategy, including report sharing and recommendations.You will have a keen sense for how to zoom in on the details for designing key moments in the first year experience, and take responsibility for zooming out to see the big picture of how the puzzle pieces fit.

Execution & OperationsDevelop a strong understanding of the current journey for new hire experiences at Visa, across functions and regions.Partner with the People Systems Product Manager to implement and automate the ideal new employee experience journey.Develop, manage, and maintain the phased buildout of the ideal journey map, including setting expectations and identifying responsibilities for key COEs and various stakeholders.

Identify goals and KPIs for each of the development phases throughout implementation to ensure progress over time.Collaborate with Information Technology, Corporate Communications, People Business Partners, Pre-boarding, Visa University and various Centers of Excellence.Own the knowledge management and content strategy for key communications channels around new hire experiences.

After 90 days, you will have built the roadmap and strategy for how we will deliver our vision for the new hire experience.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (eg Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications: 8 years of relevant experience in Employee Experience or Talent Management, or 5 years with an Advanced Degree (eg, MBA, Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field) Demonstrated experience managing by influence, presenting to senior leaders, and bringing stakeholders into a new strategy or approach Project or program management experience with demonstrated ability to multi-task, collaborate with different stakeholders across timezones, and manage competing priorities Experience compiling data and making recommendations for programs based on the data Strong written and verbal communication skills with storytelling orientation via decks Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, working with large data sets, formulas, pivot tables, merging large data files/documents, and crafting reports Experience working with Workday, Service Now, and survey technology platforms (eg, Qualtrics, Culture Amp) a plus Capability to work autonomously, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive linear, fact-based insights, recommendations, and solutions Strong desire to work alongside a skilled team of professionals who value hard work, appreciate a bit of fun, and always strive to be more inclusiveAdditional InformationVisa has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees and visitors.
